The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is pleased to announce that Toyota Motor Europe will be Main Partner of the 2026 UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships.
The event will take place in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, from 29 October to 1 November. It will bring together more than 200 athletes from five continents, who will compete in one of para cycling track’s two sport groups: Cycle (conventional bicycles with adaptations where necessary) or Tandem (for visually impaired athletes with a sighted pilot) depending on their impairments.
This partnership builds on an already established relationship between Toyota and para cycling: the Japanese car manufacturer was a partner of the 2025 UCI Para Cycling Road World Championships held in Ronse, Belgium. This support is part of its mission to help people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
In Apeldoorn, Toyota will bring its vision of “Mobility for All” to life through two concrete on-site activations:
- an athlete lounge, already proven in the Olympic and Paralympic context, dedicated to athlete comfort and preparation, and equipped in collaboration with Hyperice — a health technology company — with the best recovery tools available;
- the showcase of a Toyota Proace City WAV, a vehicle adapted for people with reduced mobility, a tangible illustration of Toyota’s commitment to accessible mobility for all.
